World Car Awards and Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year

We have exciting news to share with you.

The World Car Awards has reached an agreement to acquire the Women's Worldwide Car of the Year program. The WWCOTY program will be overseen by the not-for-profit association that operates the World Car Awards, and will be managed by a dedicated WWCOTY steering committee, as an adjunct to the World Car Awards.

Beth Rhind, Co-founder and Executive Vice-President, World Car Awards says, “We value the hard work that has been done by the WWCOTY team, and the World Car Awards looks forward to building a strong brand and awards program focused on the goal of giving visibility to women in the automotive world and making women’s voices heard worldwide”.

The World Car Awards will be working with current and former WWCOTY jurors to build a strong 2027 awards program by leveraging trusted systems and processes developed by the World Car Awards. WWCOTY 2027 details, including jurors, awards, and a complete timeline will be announced in the near future.
